Arc 7 Play is probably one of the best bang for buck rackets on the market for casual players.

1000 Game/Play probably not worth the money though.

Why so? I was looking to buy the budget model cause the 1000zz is toooooo expensive

The Tour might be worth it since usually the difference between the Tour and Pro models aren't that big, but the Game and Play models will feel quite different. The 1000 Game and Play are also only medium-stiff.

Had a chance to hit with the NF1000Z tonight - this thing plays Uber stiff and feels much stiffer than the NF800 to me - probably because of the lack of head weight.

In the mid court the 1000Z is insanely quick and very responsive. Managed to get decent power from the rear court but had to work hard for it. (I normally play NF700).

You will defo need a strong wrist and good technique to get the most of this racket.

Arc 7 pro is not uber stiff and doesn't have a smaller head though..

Defo nothing like an Arc 7 Pro. Arc 7 got more head weight and a much more flexible shaft.

also got bigger head and the frame on the head isn’t so wide.

Arc 7 pro has more head weight? Arc 7 pro is already borderline head-light according to some people's measurements.

Seems like it's been the case for quite a few launches, with yonex missing the mark. The arc11 pro did well because of nostalgia, but it seems to have significantly tapered off. Expect something similar with the nf1000z. Funnily, the 88spro which is probably the easiest to play for non pros did the worse of all.

Just wondering how small is the racket head compare to Z Force 2? I had ZF2 in my bag & hardly use it because the small compact head frame is rather difficult to get used to.

I read, or saw, somewhere that said the 1000z head size is the same or similar to the duora z-strike. It may have been ckyew or some other reviewer.

On another note, the 1000z sounds a bit like the js10 in terms of spec, could anybody who has tested both compare the two?

Pretty sure there's more vibration with the JS10 and although JS10 is a great racket it's got a lot more vibration compared to the freecore rackets.

Im currently using nf700 as well with aerobite 26x28lbs. Felt the 700 lacks power sometimes, would you recommend the 1000z? Maybe can give a comparison as well. I used to play with aeroanut 9000c but it broke and its hard to find 9000c in japan as well so i went with 2 nf700.

Same question compared to the NF800. Loved it despite missed a bit of punch. So I switched to AX88s pro. Not sure which one I prefere.

Could the NF1000Z be the solution?

There is a massive difference between the NF700 and NF1000Z in terms of flex. If you have the technique and strength to get the 1000Z to kick then no doubt it will deliver great power.

never player with the aeronaut but from memory it will be a lot more HH Vs the 1000Z.

best suggestion it to try and have a hit with one before you commit :)

Thank you for the reply. I wish I’m in my hometown, the court there supply demo racket for this 1000Z, sadly in the place I’m where now, they dont. I sometimes miss my Aeronaut for its power, tried the 100zz, definitely a good racket but once I’m on a bad day, i really couldn’t handle it to its maximum potential.

Had a look at unstrung rackets yesterday, 100ZZ and 1000Z. I think they are both have the same stiffness, just different head heavy point.
100ZZ has bigger racket head than 1000Z. AS11Pro has the biggest racket head.
