Your long awaited chance to watch Li Yujia play live is here.

Go down to the Singapore Badminton Hall from 1 p.m. tomorrow (Sunday). She and Hendri are in the mixed doubles finals of the Cheers Asian Satellite (Singapore) Tournament. They will be meeting Lee Yong Dae & Ha Jung Eun of Korea.

Personally, I find your snide remarks hurtful and uncalled for especially towards people who have obtained citizenships in another country.

first, i think you are exaggerating by calling my remarks 'snide'. what did i say? I just said that there is actually only one Singaporean (i mean singapore-born player) there... I'm just stating the fact. I did not say anything about the non singapore-born player. I never look down on them or anything right? why must you say that my remarks is 'hurtful and uncalled'? those people have obtained citizenship and become singaporean, but is it wrong to acknowledge that they were not born in singapore?

No,not wrong to say that. Its a fact only Kendrick is Singapore born.He rocks too! He's so macho.Look more like a swimmer or something. But gosh! He's powerful! His smacks I mean.haha.But the rest train hard in Singapore too..so can say Singapore groomed them to success in a way.Although thet arent very recognised internationally yet,I believe in due soon, our players will make their mark in the badminton world!

I think it's a misunderstanding.Saying 'there is actually only one Singaporean' doesn't mean there is actually only one singapore-born player.Just try to be more specific next time to avoid this kind of misunderstanding.

Well said. But i think both Arief and johnps are right. Anyone can have their own opinion but it's wrong if both starts fighting based on wrong interpretation of each other's opinion. So i don't see the need to say such things. And i don't think we should fight with our own countrymen on who's right and wrong...
