Yes, I bought my MP-100 from there. For a badminton fan iin England, its the most amazing shop, with so much variety. my family and me must have spent more than £400 in that shop that day.

Well its a tennis shop as well but they had every Yonex racket there when i went. Apparently its the biggest racket shop in Japan so I'd expect them to have the NS9000

ants how do you feel it compares to the other nanospeeds in terms of power defense feel control with all variables even (3UG4). Im assuming you have tried the other two. Like could you rank 1st to 3rd in each of your rating categories.

also how headlight is the racket compared to the nanospeed 8000 and how heavy is it in terms of total weight compared to the 8000?

the person who i saw using a type X last night said that it was good for clearing because "the head gave extra whip" (i guess the elastic Ti works:p )

I felt that the 9000 X is both head heavy and a heavier racket overall compared to my 8000.

Well according a Yonex rep at the AE, the racket has titanium inserted into the head of the racket (around 10 and 2 o clock areas) to help give it the Elastic Ti properties. Inserting metal into the head of any racket will undoubtbly increase the weight of the head?

The nano technology in the rackets gives them extra strength and durability from thinner material. The head on the nanospeed is slightly slimmer than a normal racket as a result.

I would say the head is ever so slightly heavier than my 8000. But the racket overall is definitely heavier. I could tell straight away just from picking it up.

Interesting..., Type X has a whipping effect. So I guess it is not as stiff as MP99 or MP100 or Ti 10.

i think it's the elastic Ti that gives it that whipping effect

I thought whipping effect should be felt at the shaft rather than the frame?

i think normally in rackets it's the shaft that whips but the elastic ti is design to give whip at the frame for an extra kick. not 100% sure about that though

Once you add the DOHC and V-TEC stickers, coupled with a faux carbon fiber hood, battery booster wires, NGK spark plugs, Tanabe Coffee Can exhaust and HKS Power Flow, you're ready for The Show. :p
