I've tried most of the E Series today except the E-1000 due to breakage. According to Pball most of it are off-specs. What can i say about the E Series? Well the colors is indeed attractive. Shiny. In terms of racket performance... since its off-specs. Some of them remind me of Gosen rackets. My initial Impression with it since it is my first time using them. Most of them are light. Very responsive and quick. But personally i think there is still alot of improvement to be done for the so called Off specs. Not so forgiving and too much vibration felt even it is stuffed with rubber or silicon grommets which i think that their purpose it to absorb the vibration. There is definately power. Repulsion is good since it is strung with Bg66 4 knots 25lbs 27lbs. Well i just have to wait for the On specs rackets to have a better picture so i can give my inputs.
Thank you Master Ant for your quick review. I was very surprised to hear that the silicon grommet is not obsorbing as much viberation. ALso, from Taneepak's prior post, these are very soft racquets as he claimed. My experience told me that soft racquets are better in shock absorbtion. All these are very unexpected. What about the control? More specificly is when you do a more powerful deep angle smash, does the shuttle fly further back than you expected? Thanks again and have a nice weekend.
erm, then y are u even arguing with him over his marketing strategies? if ur not happy then leave it and stop disturbing his thread. dun be such a sissy armchair critic. use the racket first and then give ur honest comments. if he says that the grip weight will affect the rackets' performace, then go get 1 of his rackets, play with it, then stick a grip over it and use it again. And then u give ur opinion. Grow up and give a life man. stop b****ing over this sort of petty stuff.
LOL! I'd like to see you say this to my face. You ever heard of telling it like it is? That's what I'm doing. When people say, "effortless power", or tout it is the greatest thing since sliced bread and it is not, questions should be raised. But I know this post will fall upon deaf ears for you because you are one of Eepak's Yes Men. If you don't like to hear what I have to say, then you go away. No one is making you stay. Like I said before to Eepak, good luck with his racket. You should just leave it at that.
Interesting . . . I will await for your report with the on spec version just to keep this threat going . As an experiment Ants, please try other strings like BG-70 Pro at 30 lbs X 33 lbs.
Vectran E-1000 Review The other thread is getting way out of topic. I am not going to waste time reading posts that should be in the general forum. People who have actually tried the E-1000, or the other E series, please post you findings here. If I want to learn about the racquet business, marketing, math, design, or what you had for breakfast, I'll google it. ok? This is the equipment forum, not a blog site.
if he says he isnt interested in the racket then fine. stop disturbing his thread and finding fault with wat eepak says.period. and no, im not a yes man. i myself am getting 1 in order to try it out.
Hey Outlah, I haven't had much time to fully test the E-1000 for a couple reasons (working late these past couple weeks and because of injury). After this coming week, you can meet up with me and borrow mine with the following conditions: 1. you break, you pay 2. you break strings, you get it restrung 4. you play with it as it is - no modifications, no overgrip (I have Taneepak's #1 which is the lightest one and have assured him that it would be tested as is) 4. you promise to bring it back to me after a week or so (e.g. you agree to bring it back on a certain date, and you do - regardless of rain, snow, sleet, hail, or any other "act of god") This way, you can evaluate for yourself. How does that sound?
Sounds like a sweet deal Tell me if this beat the legendary LF TI500 that hangs from my wall outlah! Guess what? After going through lf ti 500, AT 800's, I'm back with the TISP SX that I always wanted to trade away. Apparently, I was not good enough for it! Now its like BAM
No, you are wrong. But this is not the right thread to discuss about it. I will start a new thread to thoroughly discuss this rather interesting topic of whether changing the static balance point of badminton racquets will effect performance. BTW, I am talking about badminton racquets, not tennis racquets. These two are different animals. A tennis racquet has no proper shaft to speak of, and the whole thing, except the handle, is actually the frame. A badminton racquet's shaft is a real shaft and separate from the frame. A badminton racquet has a whip on either side of 2.5" to 3.5" because of this separate shaft. A tennis racquet has nothing like that. Also, static balance point is a critical manufacturing process for badminton racquets, not so for tennis racquets. More to come. BTW, Gollum, what racquet do you use? If you don't mind can you let me know the U class of your racquet, its current total weight, and its static balance point? With this we can use your racquet for some experiments. Not only that, other forum members can do such experiments on their racquets too.
This is your opinion. I have mine. I am not disturbing this thread, I am saying it like I see it. Find an untruth in what I have said. There should be questions asked when a racket is not performing like the manufacturer/creator says. Especially when it cracks at the T-Joint as well as the 2 o'clock position from impact from a shuttle. You may find this acceptable but I do not. If you don't like to hear what I have to say, then don't reply.
