Have a look at this image http://www.vbwebsolutions.com.au/badminton/pages/IMG_0871.htm - look for where the shuttle is, and where his racquet is....[/quote]

Nothing is so special about this picture. The player is just holding a birdie in his hand, and hitting another birdie or just practicing some jumping shot..

Ahhh - no. This was during a game, and if you notice, his hand is open.

After looking at the original pic, and the next one in the series, the person walking behind is actually the service judge for that game, so you are quite correct. I withdraw everything I said and thank you for correcting me.

No problem, keeping everyone sharp ;) Too bad you couldn't get the same spot for the ozzie game as for the england game.

I thought they held some concaf event there last year in which canada participated so you should've known better :p

did you go in general admission or do you have a press pass? what big lens were you using? i'm planning to bring my nikon d70 and 70-200mm lens but i'll just be in the 'A' seats.

the conditions of entry are pretty ambiguous. although it says lenses up to 200mm are allowed, it also says they can ban you for any reason they want. i had trouble with my lenses at the australian open tennis before and i don't want the same trouble this time.

Mini me - the guard at the gate told me that they'd allow up to a 300mm lens on GA tickets (which is what I had).

demolidor - It was a great pity, but the England-Trinidad & Tobago games were on court 1, and the Aus game was on court 2 - I was very lucky that adelina gave me a hand to get the best spot for the Aus-Kenya game, or I would've been up in the nosebleed seats.

i guess what you can bring in depends on luck. the conditions of entry 21p) says that if they want, they can just say that i can't use my equipment. 27) says that 200mm is the maximum focal length, which is stupid because 70-200mm lenses are much higher quality than 70-300mm lenses. hopefully they won't stop me from using my 70-200

Am I right in thinking that KKK switched from AT700 to Ti-10 (see last pic on post above).
