If we compare all the players and coaches between INA & MAS, I think MAS are much much better. Even their performan suxk, but they won't get any punishment such as get fired. See Misbun, the time the he national head coach, MAS performance sooooo suxk ! But BAM even didn't do anything to him. And if the player's performan pooor, the coach even still protect & cover the player. The under BAM are luckiest guy.
I don't think Tong Sin Fu will want back coaching Indonesia after he been denied Indonesia citizen. And as you know, he coach some of the best of Indonesia MS in end of 80's and half of the 90's. It show you that coach job in Indonesia is not very highly appreciated. Not like other countries. If the players get any gold of top results, the coach didn't get any deserved credit. But if the player fail, the coach will be the first to fired.
After he got denied of Indonesian citizen, he went back to China and LYB hire him as MS ASAP. From his hand, he coach Xia Xuan Ze and Ji Xin Peng. What a success! One got All England and World Championship title, the second got Olympic gold medal. After that he resigned as China MS coach. But LYB persuaded him back to help them during TC 2004 and you know what , it work. China grab THomas Cup back in 2004. Something must be very wrong in PBSI , otherwise Rexy and Hendrawan would not be coaching other countries.
taufik-ist, would you mind giving us the news source where you got this from??..is this a factual report, as i haven't read from any indonesian media.. hmm, IMO, this is the 1st step... Unfortunately this will not happen...I remember a report which says, that Bang Suti(yos)o will be the head chairman of PBSI til 2008...yup, so, sorry guys, it'll be another 2 more yrs... hehe, true indeed...not only the coaches, but some of the players themselves..a lot of the younger players have moved abroad to play..
Mal should hire those coaches fired by PBSI. Li Mao and Rexy already made a big difference, Mal needs foreigh coaches !
Talking about coaches...i think China has a strange system. If the players win some cash rewards in tournaments, the players have to give the coaches some percentage of their cash. That's why, Li Yongbo is so damn rich. Is this true? As for M'sia, the players keep all the rewards. Coaches get nothing in return.
i've read about changing the coaches from kompas newspaper yeah... hendrawan is very disappointed becos his players are rarely sent to a tournament, even a sattelite tournament,
heh??..is he back to PBSi again??..i thought Hendrawan has moved to Japan to coach their national team??..
hendrawan was coaching indo ws players but then moved to japan coz indo ws players rarely got sent to tournaments
?!?!..heh??..taufik-ist, you didn't know??..hmm, i read abt that in one of the thread in 2006 Thomas & Uber Cup forum-not sure if it's true or not.?!?!.and i thought i read an actual news report on that news also... sigh, true, Dinkalot said it right, "too much drama in badminton"..
Hendrawan is still in Pelatnas and other news.. Looks like Hendrawan is still around in PBSI afterall.. Anyways, just read today's edition of Jawapos. Apparently it's confirment that another Men's Single coach has resigned. Rudy Hartono did not mention who it was, but speculations abound are it's coach Joko Supriyanto. Although coach Joko hasn't confirmed nor return any calls. Early reason for the resignation was because "the coach is too tired(mentally) as well as there hasn't been any real sign of success this past yr". It also mentioned abt PBSI's plan of rotating players with new coaches. With the purpose of reinvigorating and improving those players with the new coaches. As of now, there are six coaches. In the Men's group there are, Mulyo Handoy,Joko in the Men's Single and in Mens' Double there is coach Christian Hadinata. Whilst in the Women's group, the Women's single is handled by Hendrawan whilst in Women's double there are Richard Mainaky along with Bagus Setiadi. Coach Richard is also the coach in Mixed double. It also mentioned an attempt by PBSI to get Han Jian, to be their new Men's coach, but he declined to be Pelatnas coach. http://jawapos.com/index.php?act=detail_c&id=225534 Also, there's another news involving another one of Pelatnas' young player resigning. This time it's Women singles specialist Wiwis Meilina. Her reason was she wanted to continue with her study. Prior to her resigning, since Feb. 1st, there has been several other players leaving. The list includes: Eng Hian, Dian Ayu Mayasari (Women's single), Ari Yuli Wahyu (Men's single), Rian Sukmawan (Men's double), and Rintan Apriliana (Wome's double). Last important news is, apparently Tommy Sugiarto will come back and join Pelatnas again later in the middle of this month. Earlier on, he requested a resignation, as he was planning to leave for the reason of continuing his study. http://jawapos.com/index.php?act=detail_c&id=225532
get back WS coach to Pelatnas please Liang Chu Sia or Retno Kustiyah Liang coached Susy Susanty, Sarwendah and others in Pelatnas succesfully Retno coached Mia Audina in club & Pelatnas and she allways produced Pelatnas players like Silvi Antarini, Firdasari, Fransisca, Pia Zebadiah also Bellaetrix. I'm sure that trained in her club is much better than trained in Pelatnas by Hendrawan. Another candidate is Djarum WS coach who also produced WS Pelatnas players.
i wonder why taufik really likes mulyo style of training and why he hates jokos style, i wonder what mulyo is doing diffrent.
officially retno is the head coach of jaya raya but she is actually not really coaching in her club, all the coaching is done by others she is just sitting in the hall, enjoying the games! so the level of Pia and Bella is thanks to them but ok, i agree with you, she coached some good players before.
