of course, BOOM HS!!! the jump smash headshot is cool, dodgine headshot smashes like matrix is cool, anything involved with headshot is cool. if playing against friends we always try to headshot each other, if its done i always scream BOOM HEADSHOTTT!!! for the whole gym to hear lol.
agreed, its a feat tried by many although backhand is relatively weak (obviously) it was AMAZING mines is the peter gade SUPER desceptive cross court net shot
Okay, looks like we've now ran out of moves. I'll be listing them down tomorrow (I need my beauty sleep. I've got badminton tomorrow. ) G'night Keith
Watch this video, its the last point of a match i think: http://www.zippyvideos.com/1103662184142046/peter_gade_feinte/
This is nothing, i smashed at my friends ankles, he managed to sweep his own feet from under him and land squarely on his stomach, lol i laughed to the point of not being able to breathe for about ten minutes after that.
Well me and my friends were playing around one of these days and we ended up learning how to smash while the Racquet is in like a stabbing position!! You raise your racquet arm up around-starting from behind you to the front-and have it so it looks like a smash just your arm is in a more difficult position!
i still think headshots are the coolest, just cause of the bragging rights and it degrades the victim
when a long clear reaches the corner, i let it fall till its about my knee height and then i hit a cross-court drop and let it jjjjuuuuuuuuuuuuusssssst tip over the net. did this twice in a match, i was quite pleased
I think Taufik's done that alot in the Olympics. I think it's a great morale buster if the opponent doesn't get it.
try this... the spiking jump smash..just like a volleyball spike but with a little angle flicking wrist with the raquet.. huh? what the hell im talking about?!! just jump as high as u can then hit the bird hard!! BANG!! your toasta!! hehehhehehe
cool moves. I'll explain one. stand up. right foot front. drop/bad shot. is coming low to your backhand. you fake a lift. you now ahve your 'backhand' side of the rackethead facing up. turn it counter-clockwise 100 degress and hit the shuttle there. hard to explain. the effect: your faked straight backhand lob becoem and udnerhand sliced forehandshot cross...I'ms till practising. it's a bit like a sliced gade feint. and can be used when returning a short serve.
theres always the frame hitter that NOONE can ever get! i wonder if u can actually practice this shot...
you can also try the gade-feint on your forehand. you can do a lot of cool stuff if you imagine this: with a forehand-grip. make a lobshot. The 'upside' of your stringbedi s 'the good side'. now. fake a lobshot and try to slcie the shuttle with your 'bad side'. unexpected, and cool
yes, sometimes when im playing noobs they miss-hit SO much that its unexpected drop shot and they get me with it LOL.
