As for me, I am happy that I predicted that he will be MO 2006 Champion.

LCW, you have given hope to badminton in Malaysia. Well done !!!

And of course, CM and KKK, you too have done well. What a day for Malaysian badminton.

Well done LCW, I haven't congrates him after his win. It's a hattrick. 3 time MO MS champion and he level this with our Rashid Sidek.

I am so gutted as I missed the 3rd set and went to play badminton with friends just now. (Pre-Planned)

Really hope someone can share the match with us soon.

HUGE Congrats to LCW! In the 3rd set, I felt like it was going to be the usual "Malaysian almost wins but loses in the final" story. Glad LCW pulled off a miraculous victory by coming back and kicking the unsporting LD in the a$$!

Also- I used to be a LD fan, but after today, I hope every player LD plays against will beat him!

I recorded the match but found out to my horror the recording was full of "snow". It would be very much appreciated if someone can put up the full match video for download.

Snow? How come? How do you record it?

Do you all noticed that the MO Final post has been viewed by more than 14,000 times? Will catch up the Announcement post soon. It is really a disaster for Lin Dan..........

Congratulation LCW ...you have proved that you are great champion...
Too sad your historic fightback should be the talking point in this Forum instead the sore loser had snatch that away from you.
To free yourself from the hanging noose of the World No. 1 is the greatest achievement, and hope you will learn from him ie be a true champion and not a lousy No. 1

If LCW's achievement is better than Lin Dan in the upcoming Chinese Taipei Open, then, he will be world no 1 by mid July 2006.

Wow this interesting, therefore if LD decided to withdraw from CT Open ( too embarassed after reading this Forum    ), then LCW will be the new No. 1 if he take part...is that so?

LCW avenged his defeat in the All-England in exactly the same he was defeated by Lin Dan then. If you people can recall, Lin Dan came from behind in the 3rd set then to beat LCW --- the difference here is LCW congratulated Lin Dan even though he was devastated.

    Call me a stirrer I don't mind.:D

Well, that will have to wait till points for last year's Singapore and Malaysia Open have been deduced from Lin Dan's total. If you take off those 2 and include this year's MO results, LCW's points total of 37473 already exceeds Lin Dan's 37303 (although his total number of tournaments is 1 more than Lin's). However, Lin Dan will still be world no 1 if he reaches at least the quarter-final next week.

LCW is definately playing in Chinese Taipei Open. There will be another LCW vs LinDan showdown if they meet again.
    My talk with LCW earlier.
    He quoted...
LCW : The win was unexpected when i was trailing and Lindan having the match point. But i didn't give up hope. I play 1 point at a time until i reach the score 20-20. Then only i know i can catch up...
