Just count the number of grommets on YOUR racket and you'll see the difference.

I think I've just got converted to an Apacs fan! I bought my first ever Apacs racket today and it was a AT-800 def replica. POWERTECH 1020 Defensive, and my... Was I surprise when I first played with it. It's far beyond good considering the price is only RM80... :O

I think their rackets is good in quality, looks and value for money!

Note: I had a ns8k and it let me down one day before my tournament. It cracked at the 12 o'clock in a clash with an RSL racket. And the RSL racket was totally fine!! well Yonex let me down, I think I can depend on Apacs and see how it goes. :D

It's light and very stiff. Very playable.

I'm using a Nano Pro 8000 and 9000, their profiles are similar to the Yonex Nanospeed 8000 and 7000 respectively. They are easy to use and not demanding at all and suitable for all levels imho (have seen some competition players using this brand recently).

Hope to get the Nano Pro 9800, 9900 or Nano pro magic soon. Here's some of the Apacs series:

Apacs claim in their ads that their rackets can be strung up to 32lbs.

I bought the NanoPro 9000 from Classic sports, Safra Toa Payoh for ~$100. I received the NP8000

I believe the NanoPro series is the top of the range. You could probably get the mid range models (eg. NanoPower series) about S$50 across the causeway (try a seach for 'johor bahru'). For a feel of the rackets, perhaps you could go to 10n10 at bras basah complex to take a look as they are the authorised distributor in Singapore. Please do not be shocked at their prices :D

Eh? Sealman i thot you use Yonex one? How come you use Apacs? So when are you getting the woven series of Apacs, Soh got sell right?

Anyway the Nanopro 7000 and 8000 is available in JB for around ~$80-$85....it's a good price for the quality of the racquet compared to the mid range models....

But of course the mid range models are not too bad, cheap and good racquets....good for the defensive minded players especially the Nanopower series...

    depend on my mood haha....

I think Soh is selling selected models of Apacs (NP9000 is part of the woven series). I thought he wanted to concentrate on SOTX. i drool at the D900 but then again you could buy at least 2-4 Apacs rackets for that kind of money. Depends on whether you are into quantity or quality :)
