One of my friends recently a Yonex NS9000 SP. For whatever reason, I can't shake the feeling that what he received is a fake. As I don't have a real NS9000 to compare to, it's hard for me to make any comparison. There are a few little things I noticed, such as the lettering doesn't appear crisp/sharp, and there are some extraneous stickers - such as one on the cone. I did a search but did not find too many NS9000 pix, if there are already posted, please feel free to direct me to the thread. Thanx.
You should take pics of your friend's NS9000 and post here instead. BC has plenty of experts who can verify it professionally. Sometimes, I even felt some of BC members are involved with racket designing/manufacturing based on their posts.
I would gladly post some photos, however I don't know how to reduce the images to the required size. If you can help with this I will post images, jus tell me which parts of the racket you'd like to see. Mine is the Type X, so don't worry if he has the Type S and it looks different.
Do you mean the hologram stickers? should be authentic if it has the 2 hologram stickers... at least, I've NEVER seen a photo of the fake hologram stickers posted on BC before.
Yeah true, it's jus the "Type S/X" and the cone which is Silver on the S and black on the X (I think it's that way round)
