A bad start for Kido/Hendra. Hendra was making many mistakes and let the Chinese pair pull away when the score was at 13-13. At the end, they lost the first set 17-21. They better wake up and play better in the second set

Zhao is not good, in my humble opinion. But her partner, Zheng Bo, is very very strong and powerful. If Zheng Bo had paired with Zhang Jiewen as initially planned, they would have won a lot.

It was still tight in the first half of the second set as Kido/Hendra led 11-9 at the interval. However, they came back fast and furious with some quick and easy points. This clearly rattled the Chinese pair and they could not cope with the fast attacking play of Kido/Hendra. Kido/Hendra won the second set 21-13. Let's hope they win the rubber set as well!

Again, the score was pretty tight at the interval with Kido/Hendra leading 11-9 in the rubber set. Can they pull away and win the match? I hope so...

It was dejavu all over again once they switched court. Kido/Hendra attacked relentlessly and they were ahead very quickly. The Chinese pair was once again confused and could not do anything to repel the fast attacking play by Kido/Hendra. Markis Kido/Hendra Setiawan progress to their second final this year after winning 17-21, 21-13, 21-12. Can they win the title tomorrow?
