    old yonex logo

What I'd like to do, is to stencil the OLD yonex logo on my strings (not everytime, just once, for the heck of it :p ). I know there is a .eps file of both the new and the old logo (used to have them). But now I can't find it anywhere, does anyone still have it?

or do you mean the antique YoneYama logo?

a favorite of mine. I'll post pictures how it works.

now. the balck thing on top should point between the middle-mains. same for the red line till the bottom. for a nice symmetrical figure..
Get a carboard, markt out the middle-markers (the above mentioned), and cut out the black figure. and ink your strings with the carboard. your strign now show the devilhead, with some weerd stuff going on in the face. Now colour in the 'blue' part with your marker, without a mold. the result is a devil, wíth eyes! kids 'roudn here love it.

Yes, that'ss the one I ment. However it still would be nice if someone got a EPS-file of it. With a EPS file, you can state the dimensions yourself, without the edges getting rough or blurry. First I'll see what I can do with this :)

About that devil, you don't really put that on your own strings, now do you? :p

Oh my goodness, this brings back memories!! I used to have a silver stencil of the Chinese character "kill," which also means smash in Chinese, hahaha...

did you spray paint on it? Not a good idea! The solvents in the spray paint will eat up the string and weaken it. Don't expect your string to last very long.

no not spray paint, i ask me restringer to do it after giving them my stencil. then when they were done i touched up w/ a sharpie.
i actually got the idea from BC forums, i remember i read a post somewhere where a person also wrote the word for SMASH on their racquet; and i thought it be a cool idea
btw i actually have a slow smash, and i need to work on jumping backwards and smashing but im not there yet.

    thanks for feedback!

Anyone know what type paint you should use?

I once played someone who had something like a clown face on his strings.

your bedspread is lovely by the way...

Are you sure it says "KILL" and not "KILL ME"? You know like those "KICK ME" signs we used to stick at the back of other kids back in elementary school. You might be inviting your opponents to smash you to death. :D
