BUMP everyone!!! help me make a decision. I live in Kingston, ON. just across the river (or lake depend on where you are in NY) from new york state. I'm comtemplating between shuttle speed 77 or 78. I had bad experience with sealion c1101 spd 77 which most of them are in the fast side. my victor tourney (blue) spd 78 seems allright xcept in the summer...:) but here in canada we have 9 months of cold. so yeah...

I don't know what is the temp @ the gym/ most likely it's gonna be around 21 C/70 F in the winter and around 23 in the summer. one gym is heated only but no AC and the other is heated and has AC in the summer. I don't play in the no AC gym in the summer.

its all about RSL tourny no. 1 and victor green...they seem to last the longest although during a match i go through about 6 (with the new scoring)

I prefer using RSL Tourney No.1 shuttles -- but strangely enough, they seem to lose bits of feather after each game -- maybe because both teams hit hard?

I had some experience with Jinque AA/AAA shuttles, they seem to be quite OK. I'll have to buy myself a tube to see them in action.

Yonex and Tailai made in China

What about Yonex AS-20/30 (in duck feathers) and Tailai No. 1/2/3 made in China? Don't want to get fake ones, but if the quality is good....

I play badminton in New Caledonia, near Australia, and we buy our shuttlecocks in China (www.bbeshop.com). Prices are correct I think. Do anyone know a good international supplier ?

Unfortunately mattshop web site is in Chinese, and recently they stop accepting credit card, but otherwise my experience with them is good. I count on my friend's trip to Taiwan to buy stuff (by ATM transfer) from them this year.

around a month ago, one of our friend bought 3 tubes of Yonex AS40 .......... he didn't check the tubes till arrived at home ........... after checking, 1 one the tube was AS50
then we tried the AS50 one ......... so awesome, this is the best shuttlecock I've tried.
the 2nd-best is Yonex AS40, then Protech PT-10 on 3rd-place.

if I return to my country, then Indocock, Gajahmada or Saxon or Roket .......... not so famous, but all are IBF approved except Roket (at least stated on the tubes, but dunno whether true or not).

Hi, you can also check out www.twsport.com.tw, they have more products on sale than mattshop, and I think their prices are bit lower. Hope this helps.

any good shuttle deals in thailand?

I have not looked everywhere but other than the real cheapies seems like the popular shuttles in thailand are

    Magnum
    Ace
    Yonex A20
    Yonex A10

does anyone know the diff in Yonex A10 and A20--the a10 goes for about 12$ and the A20 about 15$

i would like to share my experience with you. just 2 days ago i played badminton with my friend, i bring the aeroplane green, red, black, yang yang 300B and snow peak c1101.

first i try green label. the reason of that is because i know how good the green label is. as a result of that i like to compare the rest with green label. so, i need to have a feel for the shuttle first. (Aeroplane Green label is the best). after that i tried yang yang 300b, first when i look at the shuttle itself, i feel the shuttle will be weak, and slow. but, once i have a few hits to my supprise, it is very good. my friend also said that where do you get this shuttle, first it is easily to controll, and the it is durable. i also, feel that after i used this shuttle it seem that i am playing much better.

after the yang yang 300B, we try snow peak c1101. when the time we have the new shuttle, the court become very quite, so as normal we have a few warm up hit. wowowowo, the sound is very good, i must admit that the sound is louder than any other shuttle i have used. but, beside the sound, we feel that the shuttle is very hard to control, and it fly very very fast. the speed we are using is only 77. the feeling is completely different from green label and yang yang 300B. in my opinon, i don't think i will like to use it, it seem that the shuttle is uncontrollable. after that we go back to yang yang 300B, the feel is very good.

in UK i don't think a lot of place selling yang yang and aeroplane. i brought shuttle from an online shop call super sporty. and i can not remember the web site, either .com or .co.uk at the back.
