Nope, besides badminton, Malaysia also has women squash world champion Nicole David. She is really a proud of Malaysians as she doesn't have the subsidises and facilities as good as the badminton team, and yet can win the world champion for consecutive two years.

I would like to congratulate Malaysian Men's double for GOLD medal! Job well done. Also to Rexy, great job, he can boost his players confidence to fight in high spirit, so now, the dream is no longer just a dream but dream that has come true. I hope this is just only a beginning, more to come, at least they have broken the 'jinx' (difficult to win) for the 'big' title drought in the past years. Congrats!!!

Aah, I committed the cardinal sin, fell asleep in WD 3rd set (boring) and woke up at the final stages of MD game 2.

Fortunately, ASTRO showed repeat this morning.

    KKK/TBH, you guys rock!!!

    Asian Games Doubles 2006 Gold.

Shabas to Malaysia for winning the Gold in Mens Doubles after 30years of isolation. Malaysian Citizenship should be given to Rexy. If the boys can continue with the extreme power and speed, I'm sure they will be winning a lot of tournaments.:D

What say you or apa pendapat u?:D

Congratulations to the malaysian mens doubles. If they continue like this, they'll be very very rich. Extreme Power and Speed, thats the way to go. Another Perak and Kedahan combination. Citizenship should be awarded to Rexy. The best coach so far in doubles.
    warm regards.

    Congratulations to the shock pair.

And will you two PLEASE, PLEASE continue on progressing. Nothing will be more frustrating than to see the partnership fade to nothing after a glorious run.

    Break that Malaysian 'mentality'!

ah..ya..talking about 'rich', now how much money will be rewarded to them by BAM/government for 1 gold? then maybe Rexy should start calculating how much 'extra' money he will get hahaha

    Congratulations to the Malaysian pair..

Watched the final yesterday, and the way they played, not only in the final, but en route, is absolutely brilliant... Fast, short rallies that pressurize opponents, no fuss, just brilliant play.... They way they play now, if they can mantain it, then bigger titles (READ: Olympic Gold!) will surely be within reach!

COngrats to Koo and Tan! Awesome performance! Could not believe my eyes that they put up such an incredible show from quarter, to semi, to final. They didnt drop a single set. Wow!

If they can keep it up, they have potential to be the next Park Joo Bong-Kim Moon Soo!

Not forgetting brilliant performances in the first round where they conceded 4 points only and the revenge match in the round of 16
