    Hi,
A few days ago I strung up 2 of my customers' rackets,
Yonex Carbonex 7 long with BG65 black, and
Yonex Carbonex 8200 light with Bg65 orange,
both at the same tension of 19 by 21 lbs.
Habitually, I would tap the stringbed against the ball of the palm of my hand a couple of times after its freshly strung up to try to further even up the stringbed tension.
And I noticed how there is much more of a 'spring' in the stringbed of the Carbonex 8200 light as compared to the Carbonex 7 long.
Any inputs will be most appreciated.

Cab 8200 is head light. So it goves more bounce when you give it the same force (assume it is same force)

Also if the sound pitch is not the same on both rackets that means that they are not actually at the same tension.

Cab 8200 LT is Extra Flexible

The response is simple...Cab 8200 LT is an extra flexible racket, which means that it will be more flexible (or in other words springy) than any stiffer racket. :)

there's another thread somewhere on why black string is different from string of other colours.
