LD should give a walkover to ChenYu..... Then....

LD = will get the first price money without fighting = win.

CY = improve his world ranking where winning LD is almost impossible = win.

LYB = very syok !!!! coz 1) both his player no need to risk getting injury before AE; 2) ChenYu improve his ranking; 3) Both of his player are happy = win.

    EVERYBODY WINS.....:D:D:D:D:D:D

No, not really. The spectators lose. I've maintained time and time again the countless cynical withdrawals and walkovers, especially in the semis or finals, is a real insult to the paying public. Totally disgusted:mad:

The official reason for most withdrawals is injury. You put two and two together..

I am not sure why whenever there is a WO in CHN squad, everyone blames LYB:eek:

Actually, CY injured his waist in MO, see his blog: http://blog.sina.com.cn/u/4b39337101000763

and, even if it is ordered by LYB, LD would concede to CY:rolleyes:

anyway, seems LYB needs to imrove his image  :D

LinDan is actually younger than ChenYU, no? Chen Yu had been in the national team for long time, even longer than Lin Dan, he was with Chen Hong and XXZ.

CY was really injured or not, nobody knows exactly except Chinese team. But for logical reason both of LD and CY certainly want saving their energy to fight all-out at 2 next SS. Three tourneys in 3 consecutive weeks, must be very tiring for them!

kuakuakuakuakua:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D after all he is a coach not a sportsman anymore (sportsmanship is very important). Winning more medals is the issue for him here.

reminds me of what XXF told me during the WC, and what ZN told a friend of mine.

pretty much all Chinese players are constantly injured. XXF has tapes all over her arms and shoulder during the WC. and ZN also always have tapes all over her.

so the fact that these players trains so hard and that they are always injuried means that the excuse of WO during a match due to injury is strictly speaking not lying.

but nontheless, it'd be nice to see them play it all out...

I doubt any pros to this level can be 100% "injury free". It's a matter of whether they want to fight through injuries on a particular day or not. Use medical method to exam, you will get a result of all the participants qualify for "withdraw" if they want to.

Good idea. Just want to add one more. Ranking Points. If LD did not defend his GO title, he would have lost some ranking points. Correct me if I'm wrong.
