*drool* A better version of NS7000... I want it so bad >.< But ima resist spending my chinese new year money on it since I already have the NS7000. Thats a plenty good enough racquet for a highschooler like me =x

OK, i think i played with it enough to post a review.

    NS 7700 3U G4 SP
    Strung with nanogy 95 @ 24 lbs

    First impression.

Not very forgiving compared to other rackets.

Had some difficulty doing baseline to baseline at first but eventually came

The grip seems abnormally big... Its roughly about the same size as my old racket but it feels bigger... I'm not sure why.

    Smashes:

nice and crisp. Definately a lot more power than the NS 7000. The smash placement was still off since I'm not 100% used to it. The VFC really seems to work. No real vibration.

    Drives:

Not as good as my old babolat. Probably due to it being a little more head heavy

    Returns:

Once again, not as good as my babolat (maybe cause I'm not used to it yet?).

    Netplay:

    To come soon

    Offensive:
    9.5/10
    Defensive:
    8.5/10
    Overall:
    9/10

I'll post more as I get to know it better (this sunday? I should be used to it by that time ^_^)

Ok a little more detailed review.

Racket isn't very forgiving. The bird just dies if mishit and only sweet spot shots are worth playing.

Power is definately packed in this racket. I wouldn't be surprised if the racket was really a combo of AT 700 and NS 7000. Most powerful IMO of the NS series for sure.

Drop shots and net play was pretty good. The VFC doesn't really take away from the feel of the racket.

My shoulder/arm hurts a bit right now due to over stress. I played hard for 3 consecutive days T.T may be because of higher string tension than I'm accustomed to.

One bad thing about this racket is the drives. It just isn't quick enough for it being head light.

Hey guys! Minor question, I'm about to purchase a 7700 pretty soon. Are there any similarities that the 7700 have with the AT 700. Not sure how transition be from one racket to another.

umm do you like the AT 700? The two are pretty different from each other. If you want a racket close to the AT 700, perhaps the AT 900 P/T would be better.

Yes, the AT 700 suites me very well. It's cause that I'm hearing alot of players at my club saying that there is some similarity between the two racket except that the 7700 is a little more head light. I really want the 900 T but thing is, the price is gonna kill me!

price diffeence between AT 900 and NS 7.7k should be not too much i thnk. Its only 10 dollar difference here ^_^.

Actually, NS 7.7k is rumored to be a combo of AT 700 + NS 7000 so maybe it would work? it would definately take a while for you to get used to it though....

I have tried the racquet. strung at 27lbs and loved the control that it gave me on defense, ofense it is only ok though i find i dont get as much power than when i use AT700

If you say an improved NS7000, I would agree. But AT700 is too far.

i'm saying thats what i read on one of the forums. The marketing ploy of the nS 7700 was apparently speed and control of NS 7000, Power of AT 700.

And seeing as NS 7700 is the most head heavy of the NS series, i don't think its too far off to say that?

of course no other current rackets have the power like at700 but badminton isn't all about power.

just got a couple 7700 in yesterday and not yet play with it yet. Balance wise, it feel like the at800de but a bit head lighter and a bit stiffer. As advertised, vibration reduction is minor, just ~5-8%.

    NS8000 and NS9000 are both head-heavier and stiffer than NS7700 .

    correction

correction: 7700 is less stiffer than the 800DE. This is why judging by feeling it can be sometime wrong. I did the bent test and show 7700 isn't that stiff, plus that the initial feel test, i was comparing to an very used 800de.
