Hi =D. 2 years ago i went to play at the University Montréal(UQAM)
with my cousins and theyve played with their yonex rackets.
One of those was a Carbonex 25 SP. And this morning I had a
tournament,so I asked to burrow my cousin's racket.
It is a Carbonex 25 SP 2uG4 or 2gG5. Anyone of you can tell
me the pros of the rackets ? It's kinda heavy, but I like heavy
rackets (I got muscle power 21->2u)
And I would like to know if they still sell some carbonex 25 SP.
Or if anyone of you can sell one.

For so far I can tell it's a head light racket. My brother and sister have one. Fast for net play and defense but not much power.

it doesnt feel head light to me.
it feels the heaviest of the cab 20's series
power is relative to your technique and your muscle content.

The steel is thinner, like the Cab21. Not as other Cab series rackets. May be it's the whipping effect of the thin steel.

ok Thanks guys. I will probably buy a cab25sp and a cab21 Long if there are any out there =)

A question : Is the Carbonex25SP better for doubles
and Carbonex21 better for singles? I heard Carbonex 21 smashes real good

The cab 25 is fast in defence and net play. The cab 21 is more powerfull (head heavy). It depends on you style.

    Cab 25.

The Cab 25 is an all around racquet. It isn't sold in Canada, but still sold overseas.

The Cab 21 is excellent for smashing. You can still get the new production Cab 21 in Canada and the US. The new Cab 21 is Red on Clear coat on the graphite. The old version is Blue on Black and can ony be found in Asian. They are mostly 2UG4.

    Hope this helps.

    Cheers,

    D-man

Are the Cab25's still out there or in production? I saw one a long time ago almost like 7-8 years ago!

I think it has been reproduced by Yonex since I saw a brand new one in a local store.

When I was at the badminton shop this morning, the seller was telling me that Cab 25 is actually stiffer than Cab 21. Is he telling me the truth?
