The scheduling is a joke. It's like trying to cheat badminton fans of what they have been waiting for.Anyway who knows INA may take the first two cos CHN XD has been stretched more and more with each subsequent match and CHN MD has no video homework done and relevant intense practice on the scratch INA MD.
If the MS plays, TH will thrash LD. LD has lost his champion mode and the 'little boy' mode will surface. As long as TH is fresh, he can last an hour, otherwise it's 43 mins. Anyway AS did a perfect job of freshening him up nicely.

When the team managers submit their lineup, they also submit their preferred match order. The tournament referee (or whoever is in charge) will then decide the final match order. I don't know how he will decide but my guess is that if both teams want the MS to be the last match, then the referee has no choice.

:) Agree! :( They should start off with MS...but I don't think LD will beat TH based on his current performance!

Hmm, hard for me to imagine why the Indonesian team would want the MS to be the last, coz it might be all over by then.

Maybe they're trying to to use that as a message to their other players? i.e. not to rely just on Taufik, but to take responsibility and try harder to win their own games? Dunno, just maybe.

about LYB fielding LD, Chinese media has reported LYB saying that he won't reject the possibility of using another player. he said BCL and CJ are both capable of playing the MS position. the final decision we will find out in a few hours.

LYB said he was disappointed with LD's performance so far, he said in order to win the trust of the team, a player need to demonstrate both his technical abilities and fighting spirit on court, and LD has failed in both. however, he did say LD has been improving as the tournament progressed.

oh, and this shows the rare humble side of LYB, in addition, he mentioned:

"Lin Dan need to be completely refreshed, i hope the media and fans will work together with us, help Lin Dan along, don't praise him too much. I prefer the old Lin Dan, the Lin Dan that was filled with confidence, filled with killer's instinct. I hope he will return to his former self."

If the worst case happen where Lin Dan lose to Taufik in the decider then Lin Dan fate will be like Chen Hong, we don't want that history to repeat again. Poor Chen Hong!

i think LD's seat will be safe for another 1.5 yrs. after that, he just have himself to blame.

as much as we want to think that there is an army of replacements waiting to replace the top players, in reality, there really isn't anybody. the best of the replacements CJ isn't exactly stellar to be frank. it will take a few more years to cultivate them and LD will have to continue to serve in the LYB army until he is dispensible.

u're kidding right?? Fu/Cai have shown they are worthy of world #1 again and again with results, and good mental fortitude (See singapore open final among others).

at very least they are 60/40 to win.

Agreed, I think Fu/Cai is playing at their best so is hard to imagine any pair can have more than 50% chance of beating them including the newly teamed Wijaya/Kido. Lets just hope the team that plays better win.

We will never know..remember XD Kor had unexpectedly beat INA XD as wella s DEN.....even KKK/TBH lost to Eng MD......never say it is impossible....:D:D it has been proved in this tournament that expected pairs to win ended up losing....wijaya/Kido had beaten Fu/Cai with different partner...it is not like new pair who has never faces Fu/Cai yet......expect an upset is possible at this stage.....
