I have a Muscle Power 55, and about 10mm below the T-joint, there is this line that is embedded inside the shaft, but it's still pretty visible. So my question is, is this an internal crack? I still have Yonex's warranty in tact!!!
Is that possible that u post a pic of ur racket to let us to take a better look? It's very hard to determine base on what u said. Did u get that on a clash? Or, it came with that?
It's like a crooked line about 1 cm in length that is covered in paint. And the thing came with the racquet, I haven't clashed it....yet. And I don't have a digital cam so i can't give you a pic, sorry!!!
i see... so, u mean the "line" is inside of perfect paint? maybe it is a crack. If u can return or exchange, I think u'd better do it asap, since u paid $$$, why settle down on something that's not perfect. It's good to prevent trouble in the future.
I just remembered this case, may help u a little bit: About 1 yr ago, once my friend was playing double game with me, he accidentally hit his racket on my hand. The racket broke about 1-2cm below the T-joint. I think that spot is particularly weak, since that might be the "connection point" between head and shaft. Therefore, maybe it's good to do the return or exchange right away.
if the warranty is still intact, then why not bring it in for a new one? even if it isn't a crack, why play with a racquet that looks like it has a crack in it.
