it is better that they vs each other in the semi than the final. two teams from the same country vs each other is really a turn down.

    Kido/Hendra won 19-21, 21-16, 21-15.
Congratulations. Hope they can win again tomorrow, and be a winner.
I like this pair as well.

For Rian and Yoke, I congratulate you as well as you both showed an impressive performance. I think Rian/Yoke will do better and if they can maintain their performance and increase it, no doubt they can becom 10 top pair next year.

However, I still prefer Rian/Yoke to go for Olympic next year instead of Luluk/Alven. IMO, they are better, powerful. Wonder if PBSI will allow this pair if and if they manage to be number 2 INA pair before Olympic

Oops, I just read your post.. :(
    Thanks for the advice.
Maybe it is useful for others who did not watch the livescore (as too many BC ers were sleeping).

    Anyway, thanks, bro. :)

    Beware of Lee Chongwei, too.
He must be playing in his peak, too.
He beat Sony in such easy fashion, too.
    (21-18,21-10).

If Lin Dan and LCW meet in the final, the chance will be 50:50.

Some side comments...and on to the Semis..

..so the M'sian & DEN squads still have hope with at least 2 representatives in the Semis.....And INA is now down to 1 representative..:p..Whilst CHN is set to once again take, at least, 3 titles..;)
..i thought you were going provide us w/ some entertaining narrative play-by-plays??.......still waiting for them..:p;)
..hmm, wow, i wonder how yannie, Hau-ge and fastdrop must be feeling right now after watching the last match of the night??..:D:p..I bet there must be some loud cheering & emotions going on, looking at the scoreboard..
:p..badMania, your favorite MD pair suffered a near scare there:p...But your prediction of the match going to 3 sets was right on the money..;)

The last match kept us at the edge of our seats. It's really diffucult to cheer for both pairs.
The performance of the Djarum pair is truly admirable. The persistence and conviction to win is so evident. Surely, this teenage pair will go places. Even the local crowd was very impressed in their performance. They did not win but they left a very good impression.:)

badMania is awesome at analyzing and predicting matches.... :p

Even though I like the idea of Rian-Yoke entertainment for the Danes, frankly, with the recent developments... I think Rian-Yoke should start thinking about becoming the INA #2 MD that will go to the 2008 Olympics... ;) They need ranking points to ensure that... Their priority now should be GP, GP Gold, and Super Series... :)

    from nst online

Tingting-Yu Yang had won the first game 21-9, and led 6-0 in the second when Eei Hui could not push any longer after being on court for just 17 minutes.
Eei Hui had in fact suffered the injury in the second round match against India's Jwala Gupta-Shruti Kurian and it was a disappointing end after the Malaysian pair had stunned World No 1 Zhang Yawen-Wei Yili of China in the first round.:(

hahahahaha i was watching the last MD match between Rian/Yoke and Markis/Hendra while INA players keep bullying me.. ANGRY.. grill them all.

actually they were all there to wait for Rian/Yoke and Markis/Hendra.. 20 mins after the last match they took the last bus home.

really nice to meet up with hau-ge (busy guy!) and francis (fastdrop)! see you later again today..

Rian/Yoke not coming I think as they are not national team players.. I think it will be Joko and Hendra AG again.

    It's all good..

..yah, the players must really enjoy the hospitality, esp. by having you around...Knowing well you picked them up from the airport and helped them checked in @ the hotel....Who else to pick on & tease around than our own friendly yannie...:p:D;)
..Hau-ge said, he's working as "Seksi Repot" (INA term a bit difficult to translate in English, maybe "All-purpose/busy person-in-charge"??) in this Denmark Open; not only to INA players but other players as well by taking them for sightseeing, ordering meals, accompanying players for breakfast, lunch and dinner, all kinds of misc. activities. You name, he'll gladly do it for you...hehe:p:D:rolleyes:;)
