advice for beginners

    Most players i have found r willing to help u out. At the clubs I go to (4), all the advance players r very willing to teach me & give me pointers. Don't b afraid to ask especially if they r off court waiting 4 their next game.

    Sigh..... UCLA has a badminton club.

    Other than that Check out the www.scbabadminton.org website.

    Or take a community college class near to you. There are several Community Colleges in the LA area that has badminton classes. Even though these classes may not have an instructor that is knowledgeable about badminton, at least it is a cheap and easy way to get court time.
