Hi everyone I'm looking for a new racket for badminton hopefully not too expensive (under 140$) my previous racquet is a yonex isometric 75MF
    1. How often do you play, how serious are you?
I play around 4 times a week 2 times at school and two times at the local ymca

    2. What style of player are you?
I'm more of a smashing type of person that prefers power

    3. Do you care much about durability or is it all about performance?
i care about both but since my budget is limited and i can't change rackets often so i would say durability

    4. How much money do you want to spend?
    140$ or below

    Thanks everybody

What do you play? (singles, doubles). That would help us to give you better suggestions. But since you are a offensivly oriented player, I would say to look for a racket that is stiff and head heavy. For something under $140, you can look at SOTX Woven's and Diamond Fighters.

NS7K doesnt generate much power because of it's head-lightness. >_>

I think yonex muscle power or armortec might be more suitable to me

Did you try the AT-500? It is an all-round racket that packs quite a bit of power and maybe available somewhat closer to your price range.

Budget-wise, Yonex MP series might suit you most. Try MP 33 (the cheaper one) or MP 99 (I think it's under $100 --> New w/o String). Some people say MP 99 is the best MP series ever :)

    Looking for New racket.

    Hi Shadow 1312,
From yr playing profile, U should look for SOTX Woven 7, an offensive racket, good n durable. Budget should be within yr mean.;) Go for it. Ask Dinkalot for a quote.:p

For decent pricing under $140, Yonex MP99 will be suitable for you.

If not, I'll recommend Ashaway Aero Tec 800 or 900. All three are offensive rackets within your budget and you can even have the remaining budget for re-stringing if you want.

    At-500 - It's cheap, fast, and powerful.

Only downside is that it'll twist and vibrate alot when you clear/smash if you're a strong person. But this problem will occur in other rackets as well, only way to fix it is to buy more expensive one. Otherwises, At500 is a good choice for you.

I'd suggest the AT500 - easy to handle and packs good power.

Sorry but half the rackets you guys are listing are above 200 dollars in Canada, i would go with something like a muscle power 33, or a armortec 250. For the amount you are saying.

Not sure how much MP99 is costing in Canada, but in Singapore, there's a sports shop that sells it @ SGD199 which I believe is less than CND200 as well as less than USD200.

MP33 SP is only SGD159 which is at a lower margin.
