but I hope WMC wont be like Tine Rasmussen. After winning JO, she cannot repeat the same winning performance after that...

WOW!!! Exceptional effort by Wong Mew Choo.:D:D:D I thought XXF had the hang of the game at 9-4 up in 3rd game, but she forgot, Choo Choo train runs on diesel, not jet fuel.

But it's the first game I saw Mew Choo more fatigued than her opponent, XXF probably felt too much pressure once Mew Choo caught up at 13-13.

JUST GREAT!!!! This is better than having LCW or Koo/Tan winning a tournament.

At one point, WMC was behind 14-16 before grabbing 6 straight points to reach match point 20-16. She only allowed XXF to take another point before she wrapped up the match 21-17. Incredible. Bravo WMC.

Xie basically ran out of gas on her last few rallies, that's the problem with all her opponents who think they have superior skill over Mew Cho and when get into rubber, they do not have enough energy to execute the skill. Stamina is still the #1 factor in my book!

    OH MY GOD!!!

Hadn't been this excited about a match for so long. After the second set I thought XXF is finally turning on the style and guess what? WMC disagreed with me and decided to run her own show!

Look at the journey that she had to go through before finally going up the podium - hard, bumpy and exhausting. Finally, another former world champion down. Gave up? Maybe during the second set but not when everything it within reach in the third.

I'm so proud of WMC, I am. :)

    *sniff* ;)

So, WMC achieved the first in the history in WS department ... one of the least expected girl who achieved the feat. We thought the only players who could stop China WS at the moment are WC and PHY (who are ex-Chinese national players).

To be able to retrieve all those difficult near impossible shot and play good returns, you need tremendous amount of fitness and concentration, and mental strength. WMC displayed all that. Simply amazing, she played like a man, falling, going so lowly to retrieve the shutters, bouncing around and covering the court the best she could... I am lost for words.

BRAVO and KUDOS to WMC! You display true champion quality, defeating 4 CHN player and PHY to win!!! :)
