Credit to Lin Dan. obviously in this kind of match, LCW cannot let his emotion to affect him too much especially when line calls go against him. i must say he is lacking luck in this 2 tournaments. most of the disputed line calls go against him and in favour of China. the umpire even over-ruled a point when he was given pressure by LD. however, LCW still has time. he doesn't have to peak so fast. it is very hard for a player to maintain in peak level for long time. LD may be in peak form now. who knows he will "off-peak" during Olympic. we hope LCW will really peak during Olympic 2008. :)

Both players played very well, LD was more aggressive, so that's why he won.

a classic LD match. a slow giveaway first game, followed by a fast 2nd game and after opponent is worn out physically and mentally, he cruises into killing off in the 3rd. a deserve win and he destroyed my perfect prediction today.

LD played better today yes....from the 2nd game on he played better...kept attacking...LCW got a few suspicious line calls but it wasnt as bad as in CHN last week except for the 2 at the net which was very obviously out...LCW was catching up then....well...anyway....LCW played well even though he's carrying a slight injury...he said he had difficulty moving to the right side and I can see that clearly when LD attacked there LCW is slower to react...well...anyway....LCW did really well to enter 3 consecutive super series tournament finals and won one...best of luck next yr....most probably super series finals wont be happening...

Honestly I was just slightly disappointed whilst conceding that Lin Dan was the superior player on the court today.

Well. In DO semis, same scenario when he outclass Bao in the first game. But have no answer in the coming second & decider.

IMO LCW was caught off guard during the first game winning it easily. Maybe he took it easy in the second. He shd have be more agressive on the second and wrap it up. Credits to LD.

Right after winning the 1st game easily, the RTM commentator mentioned about LCW style like 'kucing' (cat), wait patiently for the kill.

But apparently he changed his style to 'harimau' (tiger) in the 2nd set and go for the kill. That's the end of it.

    Curiosity kills the cat.
