Hmm.. ..let me emaill or PM Hau-ge and ask him if he can talk to Rexy into changing his mind and staying in BAM/MAS National team; cancel his resignation. If that doesn't work, then i'll tell him to ask Tony G., if he's interested, to kindly ask Rexy if he would consider moving to the U.S. and join forces with himself & Halim...hmmmmm..
What ever **** it is, I think Rexy got the right to choose. M'sian double team basically can not cope well under pressure when there is expectation and not consistent enough. It is nothing much coach can do if their mind is weak. If they want to learn from other good M'sian badminton player, just look at LCW and WMC.
In reply to Krisna's post : By the reaction of the INA fans... we are just very happy that those conceited Malaysians think so! By the way, in general, the MAS fans in BC are not the conceited types. I know it's not the fans fault, it's those conceited ppl. Just amused by the amount of excitement it caused. Badmania & Krisna : How about "merampas" a title when translated is 'to snatch', strong words too. This is the wrong thread but I smile when Hasbullah Awang commented on Tony/Chandra's history just now ...."sebelum dipisahkan pada tahun ............ Tony ke USA. Kemudian balik pula ke pangkuan Chandra." LOL like a married couple, 'separated, then go back to partner's side." Only Hasbullah can say it that way. Back to topic : If Rexy really leaving, the whole MD team need to go ask LCW on "10 steps on surviving after your coach leave you."
If rexy truly is leaving - here's some good news. when Rexy left England - it took NR/GE till the following WC to win. (granted NR was injured for the WC when rexy was here) but the WC the year after was amazing for England - with a bronze in MD (Blair/Clark) and Gold and Silver in the XD (NR/GE and Clark/Kellog) Rexy is perhaps the greatest coach of the last decade (in my limited experience) Whatever he does, wherever he goes he should benefit from our greatest respect. If he leaves badminton altogether it will be a great loss and the world of badminton will be a darker place without him. I do think the KLRC would be a good place for him to go though. no pressure from individual countries sports councils, just pressure from himself for his charges to win tournaments. Coops
rexy will continue coaching at malaysia , he is not leaving and he already apologise for his resign statement
Ahhh dasar neh Rexy...if u wanna resign then stick to it...if you dun wanna resign just shut up....you are giving us Indonesian fake hope...we were overjoyed already...hope he resigns though
Rexy is emotional type... Once he express out then he is back to normal ...What to do as he is this type.
If Rexy resigns , the whole doubles camp will definitely go into turmoil. Men's doubles=under him Women's doubles=under him Mixed doubles=ALSO under him Haha....hope the rumour that he will continue coaching Malaysia is true.
Rexy is about time you give something back to Indonesia and one way to do that is by resigning so that we have less threat to worry about
On the other hand... Some of us [non-MAS-fans] are hoping that his earlier statement regarding his resignation is true... INA wants to win the Olympic MD and XD golds... and our chances are getting brighter with Rexy not being with the MAS team at all...
if i not mistaken he did not say until when..but i think he will stay until OG to help our players =X
for those who understand chinese.. this is the one about rexy decision to stay in m'sian team http://sports.sinchew-i.com/node/2810?tid=3
