I am currently using Windows Vista Business, came with the notebook i bought. I installed and tried to play Call of Duty 2 but it appears as greyish screen like too much fog. But i can see my Life Bar clearly though. Will post a picture of it.

    My notebook specs is :
    2.0ghz core dual
    2GB RAM
    250GB harddisk
Nvidia Geforce 8400 GS 128 MB
    Windows vista business

Anyone ever face this problem before? I would appreciate it if you could share some info on this. Why is this happening and how to fix it.

I could watch the 3D short show infront as well as the short clips before you actually play the game. As soon as the gameplay starts, the screen is like that

Formate the HD, reinstall with XP pro. Better perfomance with games and COD will work.

I've had that same problem before when I installed Medal Of Honor Pacific Assault on my father's laptop. I still dont know how to solve it though.

there are a few reasons for this but i am not sure which one it is.
    1. run the program as an administrator and set the capability to XP with SP2
    2. update your video card driver
    3. Vista hates your game

I suspect drivers...are you using factory drivers? Notebook factory drivers can be problematic for games. I run CoD4 on Vista x64 and it runs fine..but I don't use the factory drivers at all tho.

Speaking about the settings, I got it to work on. Well, i was toying around with the graphics setting and randomly changing and trying.

Well, i agree, for gaming i would say XP is better, Vista kinda use up alot of your pc's power i would say.
