Partner apparently didn't see me standing under the shuttle and decided to do a full smash. Pictures show the result after my racket got knocked out of my hand. Oh well... better my racket than my head. PS Please move this thread to the appropriate section if necessary. I wasn't sure if this went under the general forum or the equipment forum.
Ouch.. I broke my partner's racquet before. I was going for a full smash, when he suddenly tried to intercept the shuttle.. I hit both his racquet and the shuttle. His racquet broke, but mine didnt even get scratched somehow.. lucky me, I had a JP Mp40.
Ouch! did your partner's racquet survive? Powerblade superlite is an awesome racquet and I own 2 myself. My brother has 10 of them On the plus side, at least it'll be easy to find and replace for $50!
I bought a Powerblade at Canadian Tire, but it suxxor. Get a Wilson V12: it's cheaper, lighter, less power, but awesome control.
vau.. what coincidence.. i bought him today... but i can understand one thing.. how on online shops cost about £ 79.99... i buy it for 40
Does ur bro has power blade tour? Do u know anything bout that racket? I heard that the power blade superlite has a heavy head...
Yup, he just currently purchased 3 more powerblade tours, and the tour is a little more head heavy than the superlite. He's 2-yota on the forums and you can check out his collection on the 11th post or pm him for more info http://www.badmintoncentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=51995&highlight=2-yota
The racquet did not break because of 24 lbs tension. It broke because his partner hit it so hard with an aluminum racquet it got knocked out of his hand.
A racquet with an aluminium frame is really dangerous.. you know, that big 'bang' sound you can make by whacking the racquet onto your trousers ? I tried it with my Cab8... ouch!!!!! I broke a friend's racquet before with my cab8..
my as-1 killed my brother's mp-99 when doing a lift. a friends ns-8k from a light tap, and another friends mp-100 from doing a drive. lol the as-1 is still alive!
