Yeah. The decider could have gone either way!

Lu Lan looks good for qualifying for OG.

What an exciting finale for the Women's Singlas Final.

This was definitely today's most thrilling and tense Final so far. Tine Rasmussen eventually triumphed after a topsy-turvy 3rd set. Tine had a comfortable 11-6 lead at the interval, but, once they changed court, Lu Lan took the initiative again and led 13-12, and then 15-13. Tine came back strongly to lead 19-16 and then 20-18. Lu Lan saved both match points, but, there was no stopping Tine as she claimed her BIGGEST TITLE of her career so far, the prestiguous All-England Title! She leapt in joy once she won the match and what a scene it was! The prize presentation ceremony was also memorable to her as she could not hide her joy and tears!

This must be the WARNING BELL for the Chinese Women's Singles. Tine Rasmussen has won 3 Super Series titles, Wong Mew Choo and Zhou Mi also won one each! That's 4 Super Series without a Chinese winner now.

Will the trend continue next week?

really? maybe she was too disappointed with her performance. being down and coming back in both the 2nd and 3rd like that she thought there might be a chance.
still sportsmanship should have been there

Thats exactly what I thought after analysing those non-CHN players cracking the Great Wall. WMC doesnt have what it takes, but not to discard her as a dark horse. Tine has the height n power, but not consistancy. :p
