Hope.. ..you'll have a lot of fun in Jakarta (during the Thomas & Uber Cup), Lauren; if you haven't been there, the country is a bit different but i think you'll find it a unique experience..If you want, you can tag along & you can join the other BCers who will be there. I heard our Hau-ge(huangkwokhau) will be the unofficial host/"tour guide" for the BCers going to Jakarta..Visiting Bali is recommended (since it'll be an hr or so flight from Jakarta), although i don't know how long you'll be staying in INA; or if you'll be traveling with your family....
ya...go to Bali as well its beautiful place ( a bit bias as I came from Bali )...I wished I could see Thomas/Uber in Indonesia....huhuhu I'll stuck in Manchester doing my exams...and I don't think BBC will showing it either

We call it tripod caddie, or camera caddie..., make sure u feed them when they are in Jakarta...so that they can carry the 'huge' tripod n walk for 30 minutes....

abedeng is the best in the field. he will always have contigency plans. and very good at job delegating.
Since it's company apartment, I just need to pay the taxi fare and foods! If the hotel rate is reasonable, I might stay with u guys! So we can chat all nite long.
