Hi all, Sorry to hear about Chris's mother. Chris...hope you and your family will pull through this one. My condolences. I'm from Doncaster. Would like to be a CCC member and play with you guys. Is this Friday at Glen Waverley on? Just a bit of my background. 36 years old. Low in Stamina due to smoking and drinking for the last 15 years. Recently quit. Played for my high school when I was 17. That was really the last time I played seriously. Looking for a friendly environment to play socially to built up my game and mostly my stamina.
Everyone welcome as there are people of various skill levels, as long as your good natured and dont mind playing against stronger players at times, you will be fine. Note about location, once you drive into Cathies Lane, drive to the end past the main school car park (1st time i went there i parked in there and realised it was wrong as they had a function on at the same time ) Also reminder it is a new season and membership fee is payable to Llewellyn =)

To shy: hey man, we never ever closed unless the hall is being booked. This has been the tradition of CCC since i been with them when they were at box hill. Chris is one of those people who said if he would come, he would defiintely come for sure (even though it might be little bit late), otherwise people won't come anymore. remember there was this time there was flood near wantirna only a few months ago (and thim, we will never forget what happened to your car)? well, even under those circumstances, he would never cancel cos he already "commit" to that particular session. sorry sounding a bit passionate, but I hope this "speech" clarify things up for everybody. cheers. p.s i await your post with eagerness, jason-f p.p.s i know you are reading this.

is this a wind up? i think if church have funciton, it would be at city life rather than school hall. then again, i haven't confirmed that. "o-king could even be shut?" Man, you are prompting me to start a discussion thread. if i catch up this friday, i am gonna have a talk with you on this topic. great topic to do at supper. p.s i await you to start this new topic, what if there's no CCC (where would we be friday nite), what if there's no ocean king?
Good Friday, 21-Mar-2008, the hall will not be available for CCC . Greetings, I checked with the school and to my disappointment, the school made this new decision. On Good Friday, 21-Mar-2008, the hall will not be available for us. Furthermore, the school says that it does not want to hire out their hall during school holidays. Therefore even for the following 2 Fridays, 28-Mar-2008 and Friday 4-April-2008, we could not hire the hall. Now, we will need to inform everyone whenever the school term holidays are approaching, ie the holidays after each of the 4 terms of school. And the Summer holidays are long holidays of many weeks in December and January. I am very unhappy about this new conditions. As members@ccc know that we intend to play every Friday regardless. In the past years, we played on all public holidays and school holidays, even on Christmas Day and New Years Day. In fact, Llewellyn can tell you that we have played there like over 100 Fridays but missed only about 4 Fridays, when the hall was unavailable(since we started playing there about 20 months ago). .
omg, that's bad news..:crying::crying::crying: may be i should ask MSAC any court available for those particular days, so that i can book in advance, but dont know how many people will interested for friday night in MSAC.....
