Is the specified date still good? Where is it going to be held? How much does the ticket cost? Thank you in advanced for your help.

i was there last year...entrance was FREE.

ps - if you buy strings from the yonex shop, they provide free stringing.

pps - i got some racquets strung at the national stadium because the guy at 'sports marketing' wasn't too keen to string the racquets i bought there at over 22lbs

ppps - the stringers at national stadium are the official stringers for the competition, so they string for the players in the event too!

Thailand players are good. Tanongsak is potentially a future champion.
All of them are very friendly particularly, Boonsak, Poompat, Sudket, Phattapol and of course Sara Lee.

A friend told me there is no Thai open this year,:( I will try to verify.

After watching the tournament, it would be fun if you can spend your free time shopping around the National Stadium. From National Stadium turn left walk straight ahead for 200 metres make a left turn into the small street there are many sports shops and I would like to recommend ....

    Sport Marketing
    847/7 Rama 6, Wangmai , Patumwan , Bangkok 10330
    Tel. 0-2214-4741, 0-2214-1390 Fax 0-2214-4741

First Sport ( Next to Sport Marketing)
    Tel. 02-2141616

Good prices but do not expect a good service. ( may be because they are busy all the time)

i attended the the Thai Open last year. The stadium was packed during the finals. Wished I had one of those VIP passes to gain access to the seats at the front.

Would like to ask? Do any of you know what time will the tournament start on QF, SF and F? and any idea from where will the badminton players exit the stadium from?
