Party Time! Someone wake me up when Lazybuddy hits 10,000 posts. Last time i checked he was averaging 17.8 posts per day = not working LOL :crying: I suggest everyone fly to New York and we have a 10,000 post party at an all you can eat shanghai hot pot restaurant. We'll all eat while he strings our racquets and we share badminton wacky moments.
Tons of badminton, tons of rackets to string, tons of posting, all you can eat hot pot... Man, you just remind me about all the good good old days... :crying:
I will go to BBC this coming Sat. Looking forward to see you there. You can ask Sunny (the manager) about me.

the one on 16th ave has no name or what so ever. The entrance in on 16th ave between 56th st and 57th st. You can really miss it cuz its a school. Front door has a note on it. It's open on Tuesdays and Thursdays Now 7pm to 11pm. if you have any more questions just pm me.
i am looking forward to play in brooklyn, if play in the JD HS, are the player there are super good??
Rayz - the skills at brooklyn badminton ranges from beginners to advance. Pretty easy to find your level.
Agree. Brooklyn Badminton club (@ John Dewey HS) has 8 courts, and very wide range in skill levels. I am sure it will be very easy for you to find a comfortable group. If you need help at the very 1st visit, speak to Sunny (manager) and I am sure he will introduce you around.
2. Lafayette H.S: 1:30pm - 6:30pm Sat. zip code: 11223; $8/visit (if attend regularly, might qualified for some discount); 4-courts, dropin is ok. can i still join this club?? is teh club very busy and player are very good. can i just drop in to check it out first before i join?
I am not sure if this club is still in operation. Since it's just 3-5 min walking distance from John Dewey HS, why not check both in 1 trip?
You definitely want to bring your own court shoes for you own game performance and safety concern. Prefer to bring your own rackets, but I believe Sunny sometimes do lend his backup rackets to new comers. We play with feather shuttles, you can bring your own, or you can purchase at the club.
I don't think Lafayette H.S. Club exist any more. Benny (the former manager) now operate a new club minutes away from the old Lafayatte H.S. location on Fridays and Sturdays. But don't ask me of the location cuz I only know how o get there...
I go there from Queens so I usually take the Belt Parkway west and exit at Coney Island Avenue (something like that?) and turn left at the exit onto Avenue Z. Turn left onto E.12th Street and cross the Belt Parkway over a bridge. At the bottom of the bridge there's a traffic light, turn left at the light. Left again as if you are going towards the Belt again. (Confused already?) Turn right onto the east bound Belt service road. A high school should be on your right. Park and go in. Good luck (You'll probably need it if you can find it based on the very confusing direction I've given... If you have ever been to Lafayette H.S. Club, you probably already know Benny, the manager there... I haven't been there for a while and the last time I was there, it was about $10 per playing session... Enjoy (if you can find it...
Wow, that's almost identical to Sunny's club: http://www.brooklynbadminton.com/ Look, same name, .org vs .com
i think i know which school you are talking about since i been in the area before...what's your name by the way...do you know anywhere i can buy some badminton stuff..like stuttle and bag
