He is a proffessional player..sure will get over it and self examine his performance... A loss is a loss... I'm sure he will be a better player after this...lets hopes the best of him in the nxt SS...looking foward for the nxt SS..Japan SS and China SS is next right?
It is unfair in the sense that Lee was asked to fight with an opponent who is far superior than him in a venue which wont support him. Somebody who saw the match could easily understand the easiness and confidence with which dan destroyed lee.
LD was superb. his game was flawless. LCW had no answer. i was disappointed only that LCW did not gave more fight. but seriously, LD was real good yesterday. congratulations.
hmm how abt for the player who can play with both hands, 1st set right hand, 2nd set left hand? he he Fair, unfair, all is said, all is done.
Yes, point awarded to LCW. LD accepted after watching the replay and acknowledge LCW. The best of LD behavior that I ever see. The match was played in very good sportsman spirit. LD in many occasion protested the calls but then acknowledge to LCW that the call is right. Except LYB went to the referee table complaining or try to intimidate in one call that may be a wrong call in favor to LCW.
I have read the 1st post of this thread, and this is what i have here: Its unfair. 1. Misbun didnt prepare LCW well enough - It's easy to claim that LCW collapsed due to huge amount of pressure. But in my opinion LD studied every LCW's move and had an idea where LCW is going to send the birdie. LCW didnt have anything left that can surprise LD throughout the match. LCW was not prepared for this event. He will lost again even if he is mentally well-prepared. (Or should i say he collapsed because he was so blank and doesnt know what else he has to win the match?) 2. LCW himself doesnt want that gold as badly as LD - When LD keep on changing the birdie, LCW just allow LD to do whatever he wants. LCW must have thought himself that as long as he stays focus, nothing can affect him. He just need to play his game. But thats not true, that will allow LD to slowly build up LD's confidence, while losing his own bid by bid. If he really wants the gold, he should not allow this to happen and will counter back by saying, "hey, i think the shuttle is fine and you please don't change it" That will at least halt LD a lil bit. LCW didnt do that, he prefered to be victimized.
o come on Lin Dan was the clear winner, its irrefutable evidence that he played perfectly, but even on a bad day.. he would have beaten LCW XD
How does that has anything to do with fairness? So if I lost to Lin Dan I can blame on my coach for not giving me the winning strategy??? And I can refer my mental weakness as unfairness? LOL Boleh spirit
Lmaoo Yeah, the coaches are a side factor. But if you want to talk about mental battles, Lin Dan really did intimidate LCW- but theres is bound to be such intimidations in professional games. Its part of the game of badminton, and if LCW cant cope with it, then he shouldnt be a professional. Either way, Lin Dan was in another league that day.
