Maybe Lee CW have a very difficult decision to make. After all we are proud of him and will support what ever decision he made
I think you have got it wrong. Yao Ming donated US$2 million to the Sichuan earthquake. He also created a foundation, the Yao Ming Foundation, to specifically rebuild Chinese schools devastated by the recent earthquake. This man has a big heart.
actually i don't think just lee chong wei donating moneys to those who are in need or poor..i believe other players also did donate some moneys..they just dont want to sound out publicly..
Well I think the title is a bit misleading. In the article, it didn't say that LCW is going to donate 300,000rm. It mentioned that he was going to donate SOME of the 300,000 rm bonus. However I think that it's very generous of him to be donating some of his earning toward the victims regardless of the amount.
Hopefully he can do better in big matches like olympic in the future.Good to hear that he also donate the bonus for the earthquake victims.I wonder did LD also do the same..
From The Star report today, "Asked what he would do with the money, Lee told reporters that he might buy a house and live there with his parents. When teased that he could use the cash to get married, Lee coyly replied: “No, I’m still too young for that.”" http://www.thestar.com.my/news/story.asp?file=/2008/8/20/nation/22126311&sec=nation seems that he's buying a house soon!
Do not question about figure to be donated. For me it is very irritating to question, criticize how much a donor will donate. Donating is from bottom of the heart of that donor. Who are we to question about that. We should ask ourself instead of other people how generous we are? Please dont compare with what donor earns & donate. What is more irritating if donations wrongly abused. We should be happy LCW have a good & generous heart.
The media probably asked him what LCW would do with the money and he just conveyed LCW's wishes. What's wrong with that as long as LCW make good on his generosity?
