i think pro-ace is taiwanese. yang-yang on the other hand is made in malaysia, thats because yang yang himself is here and he owns the company.
i rather use a short handle racquet as it one of my criterias when choosing a racquet. it feels that a longer shaft (due to the shorter handle)...

i personally find proace produces less wind resistance compared to yonex. You dont hear the wind resistance as much.
