Well, the third time for CHN-KOR showdown in Asian Games Men's Team Final after Doha 2006 and Guangzhou 2010 edition when CHN prevailed with 3-2 and 3-1 respectively. KOR bagged gold twice at their home Asian Games, 1986 Seoul and 2002 Busan that marred by controversy.

If the scoreline hangs on 2-2, KOR has advantage to claim gold as Lee Hyun Il is fave to overcome Gao Huan. CHN has sure point through Lin Dan and KOR with their formidable first doubles, Lee/Yoo.
