It's kinda shocking for me LYB didnt include Zhang Ning in the team as I hope to see her for the last time. I really have no idea what was on LYB's mind when he decided to send Gao Ling/Zhao TingTing (well,GL is good) instead of Du/Yu.At least now I know how special Zhao Tingting is...
For one, China will still win the UC even if they send a second team thus the experiments. As for the Olympics, LYB still has a choice to pick one of the younger player in lieu of ZN. I hope that not going to happen as I really like to see the champion has a chance to defence her title. Similarly, again LYB has a choice to pick the more experience pair against the young and not so experience pair. Again, I hope not as I think that may push GL to her physical limit to play 2 doubles is such an important tournment.
I just wish I could meet ZN..She's one of the greatests. I think LYB should focus GL on Olympic than UC or maybe He just wants to give Zhao TT chance to play in this Important tournament as Zhao doesnt have chance to play OG
I'm surprised as well when I c no ZN in the UC Team...As LYB mentioned b4, she's the 'spirit & inspiration' of CHN squads, now, by excluding her from the UC Team, I might say that...... Well, according to LYB, he wants ZN to rest more & concentrating on her OG, btw, she still suffers from some injuries......Anyway, I won't be surprised IF, ZN is excluded in OG08 as well, and replace by ZL......BUT I still wish to c ZN in OG08. As for WD, is understood that LYB prefer ZTT/GL than DJ/YY. The key person is GL, LYB relies on GL very much, just like he relies on ZN b4...
I was thinking of seeing the real ZN for the 2nd time after MO06....sad that she will not be there... I thought, with the help of Hauge, I will be able to see a friendlier version of her...sigh!sigh!sigh!..... LYB favourite besides GL is ZTT I guess...that is why he chose to drop ZJW and paired YW with ZTT....
This is one i have to agree.Korean is an excitement. Not only the dramas on telly.But the plot of restructing their lineups in badminton- it keep the climax moving on a right track. For now,i really hope my idol can do his revenge on those korean guys. Worth to be watch.
Totally agree...MD in the Korean team are the strongest and more stable based on their current performance.
Even with ZN absent (as a player), the CHN team is no less weaker. ZN's current form has been spotty and I think both LL and ZM were probably playing better than her anyway.
