It's just a small week before the start and the draw will be released tomorrow!

Forgot that the age limit will be under 19 years old, born on the 1st January 1991 owards.

It's difficult from here in Europe to follow the Asian youngsters...

Is their a clear favorite for the team event?

According to one source, Philippine Open and defending AJC XD champion Zhang Nan is still junior age but Lu Lu is not. Zhang may be back for more.

The great thing about Korea is that their participation in the German Junior Open tells you a lot about who's strong and who's young. There are two other top eligible players who didn't go to Germany and they are Sung Ji Hyun and Eom Hye Won. Korea has only a very young team in their training camp this week, without the six top players who are in their last year of juniors (Sung, Eom, Choi Young Woo, Lee Joo Hee, Jun Yong Hyun, and Lee Se Rang). So the only serious prospects may end up being Kang Ji Wook and Choi Hye In. 15-year-old Lee So Hee is also good but very young and no experience apart from her silver in Germany.

Draw is out. Malaysia have a reasonable good team event draw. our individual event have our boys single and boys doubles as top seed.

The answer is number 2. Because Lius have to ensure there are certain privilages when you are part of the Pratama team. Oh, but I heard Ullin-Berry is called in into the Mixed Team squad... They need more firepower in BD, they said... Actually, if that is so, Febby should be another INA ace at this Junior Level... :D

Oh my, they seed INA as seed 5-8 in the Mixed team draw... Below Thailand?!? :( And should INA finish #2 in the pool C, INA most probably will get to face #1 in pool A (most likely China)...

Decent draw in GS: Febby Angguni got the best possible draw as the 5th seed... Renna Suwarno also got a fabulous draw to push her to the quarterfinals. Ana Rovita can also realistically go to the quarterfinals... Siti "Sharapova" Anida has to overcome the Taiwanese, Liu, by the 2nd round... I think she will be beaten by Liu... :p But Siti Anida should be cuter than most of the competitors here... ;) :D Many call her INA Junior's Sharapova...:D More like Kournikova [she doesn't win a lot] if you ask me... :p

Only 2 seeds in BD, 3 seeds in GD, 1 seed in XD?!?:eek::eek:

I am surprised by the players sent by China. May be there are so many players in waiting. I thought they will send Chen Yaokun, Qiao Pin , Lee Xuerui, Zhang Nan. Suetyan, are you surprised by the list?

I think INA's best shot is in BD: Ullin-Berry...

Febby vs. Inthanon in the GS finals!
