Peejade Cheng is one of the ex-president of our badminton club (Melbourne University Badminton Club), and Sammy, his brother, is one of the ex-treasurer of our club. Good luck to them! :D

I am very dejected that Andre lost to that HK teenager... The match lasted 59 minutes! With Andre's speed and power, he should have overwhelmed Wong Wing Ki within 30 minutes... :(

Hayom can beat Andrew... as long as he keeps controlling the game as he should, Andre should be his... Adit can also win against WWK... just bore the HK player to death with his usual boring rallies... :p
that's what we say anything can happen in badminton;)

Suffice to say..

Yup, quite surprise to find out Andre lost this morning. I left after he won 1st set. I thought it's going to be a quick finish for Andre. Skill, speed and power wise, Andre is at least one level above WWK. Should have stayed and watch this exciting match. :(

..Andre's game took the rest of the night off as well after BadFever decided to take the rest of the night off...Add to that, he probably felt the cold breeze flowing in after BadFever opened the door and left the night for good..;)

Wong Wing Ki appear to be injured right now... My friend in the stadium said he slipped... Adit might be declared the winner by a 'lucky slip' by the opponent... But not clear yet. The match haven't started... They're treating WWK. I saw the photo via my phone...

Before I forget, job well done to the organizer. This is definitely unexpected. They have transformed a pretty dark and congested hall into ....errrr......WOW!!! Hall is bright and shuttle hitting sound is very acoutic. This is what I call a REAL badminton hall. Nice. :) :) :)
I feel like taking my rackets there and have a few hits after the tournament finishes on Sunday, before they start turning it back into norm. :D

My friend [from INA too] said the 'stadium' is puny... :p

Another INA Andre... Andreas 'Adit' Adityawarman is trying to stop WWK right now... 9-9 in game 3... oops 9-11... :(

19-19.... 20-19 for Adit... match point... KNOCK OUT!!! Adit completed the INA revenge!!! He is in the quarterfinals!!! ;) Maybe his first in a GP level tournament... :)

INA now has THREE quarterfinalist in MS tomorrow...
Hayom vs. Matthieu Lo [FRA]
Alam vs. Aditya Prakash [IND]
Adit vs. Brice Leverdez [FRA]
I think INA has a good shot at seeing all three MS in the semifinals...

It IS a bright stadium

My friend said it was reasonably full, but just so small...

This picture was taken when Wong W. K. slipped... he then resumed his close match against Adit...
