    LCW a chance to come to Australia

    Rumour has it that Lee Chong Wei and several other Malaysian national players are wanting to come to Aus for the GP. But nothing is confirmed. Would be great for everyone to see the world no. 1

    It's good that top notch players should try to promote this sport in countries where badminton is still developing. They don't have to come for purse money rather for friendly exhibition matches, the problem is who's going to pay of their expenses as it's so hard to find sponsor in this sport. Imagine if we Taufik, Simon Santoso, Chong Wei, Hafiz can play exhibition match during Australia Open ... mini Thomas Cup, Malaysia vs Indonesia. Or China send out Chen Jin and Chen Long ... May be I am dreaming ...

    MaybE we just hope for one big star this year. Then possibly in a few years time we can build it to an event that regually attracts a number of the worlds top players. But watching all those players you mentioned would be very entertaining!
