    Wow, that sucks!
I see alot of upsets happening in this tourney...seems like the person who organized the draw didnt do a very good job

ontop of winning CCAA he also won majority of the Alberta Series tournaments in Alberta, basically every one he played he won.

It looks like our smash_master lost to a worthy opponent.
Kai Dan is also playing doubles with BadmintonLife founder Emmet Gibney.

If anyone is at the tournament, please give us your observations and thoughts.:)

There's no shame in losing to a highly ranked player.

The upside of this early loss is that you have more time to enjoy Montreal, its great food and stylish ladies.:D
(watching the Habs game tonight in a pub would be quite an experience, too)

Rice lost. And Li will be facing tougher opponent tomorrow.

The Japanese Lady Kana Ito seems very strong from the score board.

nicole cockiness cost her, she was leading 11-6 in the 2nd and Oka just stepped on it!

Oka deserved the win, Michelle tried but having good offensive shots alone doesnt win you titles, she was outmatched in all other aspects of the game... cept maybe her height advantage

but she is improving year over year, 2011 might be her year unless Japan sends another stronger opponent

Yeah, Michelle also happened to be outmatched in her ankle flexibility because she rolled it slightly in her quarterfinal match. She had to wear an ankle brace today, if you didn't notice.
