Last minute news (source Badzine world) : Nigeria will arrive only 3 hours before the match against Malaysia ! The Bwf states that the team should be there 48hours before the tournament but Malaysia allows them to be late, because of flight problems... Good fairplay btw Unfortuantely if there too late (one hour before the match) they'll be declared WalkOver and win for Mas 3-0...
Thanks for the news & schedule, Thombad, Will be up and ready, excited for TUC... MALAYSIA BOLEH!!! Let's see how far they can go this time!~
Hehe I'm excited too but this rule-changing affair is so bad for the image of the tournament, it's like we have China and the rest of world, who prefer to change rules instead of focusing on what happens on the court... Actually i'll be up at 6.15 am tomorow because I go with my clubs' team in a suburb for the playoffs of the league team competition..then I can see TUCup results live lol
What do you mean by "this rule-changing affair is so bad for the image of the tournament"? Which rule? About allowing the Nigeria team to come late? Or they'll be given a W/O against M'sia? Personally in this case, i think it's fair enough for them because of the given unexpected or uncontrolled weather/flight reason.. Another thing BWF/organizer can do is to reschedule their match against MAS, but then it will be a hassle for the organizer to do so..
I think thom_bad meant the reported rumours on how points are calculated to determine playing order that have been circulating around. BWF have since shot them down and denied ever having entertained those thoughts.
Apparently. See Eaglehelang's post #21 http://www.badmintoncentral.com/forums/showthread.php?p=1433387#post1433387
INA Thomas team vs Australia, Hayom will play as 3rd MS meanwhile SDK absence. CHN Thomas team vs Peru, quite similar with INA team, China will play reserved player, Chen Long as 3rd MS.
Lin Dan is owned Peru 21-4 in the first game, expected. Indonesian players struggling against their Australian counterparts in both Thomas and Uber Cups.
Nope, rather she is just taking it easy. She'll win in the end. She didn't show much determination in her shots.
Febe gets serious and owns Leanne Choo. Taufik gets serious too. See, they were just taking it easy...and still win without problems.
Just take a glimpse now and then as I do my 剪报 homework . Australian player is not too bad though, can probably beat some young players from Malaysia, Indonesia...Denmark...but wouldn't stand a chance against Malaysia's average players Lin Dan 21-4; 21-6...I thought it would be 21-1; 21-2
