But Swimming is many times more popular a sport compared to Badminton. Therefore, we expect it.

But seriously speaking, the Olympics is now staged as an entertainment event. The Olympics committee looks at the number of spectators turning up to watch their events. Currently I believe that for every 1 spectator turning up to watch Badminton, there are 10 for Swimming. Therefore, we find the Olympics allow more swimmers than Badminton players to participate in their events.

I think Olympics is much more a BIG INDUSTRY, BIG BUSINESS...more than anything about sport! Sports are just commodities there, money money, P/L matter is what the Olympics (IOC, host, corporations, etc) are chasing...the rest is just a cosmetics

Once again, more drama from the chinese team in a super series badminton tournament.. After the crowd in France been treated with a 1 hour 25 minutes ld-cj match, the next day.. LD was exhausted and conceded a walkover after just needing 3 more points to go to the final..

forgot to add another one:wang zheng ming concedes a walkover to chen long To keep him fresh of course to fight against LCW.. but of course, that didn't bear the fruit this time for them.. SO is WZM injured? What is the reason given??
