Aunty Yao Jie actually took G1 21-16 from Liu Xin. Eversince legendary Zhang Ning won her double gold olympic medals at age 32,it has given many veterans renewed hope,eg Tine Baun,Pi Hongyan and Yao Jie.

Yao Jie won G2 24-22 and the match over Liu Xin. Goes to show new Princess Li Xuerui's victory over Yao in the Bitburger Open Final was no mean feat, the very same Yao who defeated none other than Wang YH in the SG Open 2011.

Big difference in ends of courts - hence the loss of the 2nd set

Hu Yun took G1 21-15,looks like his previous victory over Peter Gade may not be a fluke

CJ in all sorts of trouble,he'd better step up the game and play with more intensity to avoid defeat

Seems to me CJ cannot work himself into the game,he's either under attack or counter-attack,and made a number of net errors - he's losing the match.
