OK, its getting late here.... Good night. And yes, sweet dreams...
Whatever the final outcome today, this match shows that Nozomi has already reached her opponent's level of play. Ignoring the fact that PHY had a rough time yesterday. Not bad for a 15 year old high school student.
Once again Noz has a sizeable lead. 7-3
Indeed. I am afraid it will make Pi feel like a grand' ma.
Noz takes a huge 11-4 lead into the break. Will PHY be able to refresh sufficiently to mount a last challenge or has Noz finally broken her will?
Probably succumbing to fatigue.
Turning my attention to a WD match between 4 relatively unknown players. Maybe Woon Khe Wei is the best known of the lot. Woon/Hoo 11-9 Aulia/Awanda (I dare not use her other name)
No surprise really. She might well have hit the wall after yesterday's endeavours.
A physical player against another one. Difficult to have a comeback.
Okuhara 15-8 now. Pawers must be happy
And Shoji Sato/Shizuka Matsuo doing quite well too.
Everyone's cancelling each other out. Nozomi is getting too famous.
Pi on a last ditch charge, closed the gap to 15-16. Can Noz hold her nerve?
Experience Pi hong yan catching up.
it's 16 all now.
Oh no! Nozomi, please win.
I can't believe Pi is coming back to 15-16.
PHY has reeled off 7 straight. 16-16, and takes the lead 17-16
Noz is capitulating
Wow. 16 all!
In the lead! Noz must have arrived at the end of her batteries.
Neck to neck towards the end of the 3rd set.. it's 17-17 now.
