Limsy, you are not meeting expectations. As my, err, future successor, you should not like the passion of INA fans. You should be as passionate as INA fans .......

haha,my passionate is more on player statistic and analysis
    hehe
for as passionate as ina fans,i cant
because i spend all my energy to watch and observe 4 court
no more energy to chant or cheer(for my fave player, then maybe, hehe)

At one point (between 1993-1997), INA was on top of the world... Strong in almost all categories... MS, WS, MD, even got strong WD and XD contenders... We want to be back there!

If you're feeling sorry because China is taking away all the titles, wait till you watch table tennis, LOL. I really pity the non-China fans

The Istora crowd tried their best to cheer Saina on..... But Saina was visibly tired in game 3... She smashed too much in game 1... :p No more fuel in her tank... Wang Yihan just took over from then on.......

I mean the enthusisatic table tennis fans in some countries have not seen any titles for a whole decade, because China is winning them all. After a while, they become used to not expecting to win, lol. But it is true that the younger Indonesian players in badminton are showing a lot of promise

Oh, we just waaayyyy prefer Saina over any CHN WS..... However, one day when Saina faces our INA WS, the whole INA Istora crowd will turn against Saina... [sorry Saina] :p

Not that most of us rate Wang/Yu highly. But the results speak for themselves.

They had play in 10 tournaments. They only lost twice. First in China Open last year cause one of them was injured against Malaysia WD. (Probably WXL injured) The second lost this year in Malaysia Open final againt TQ/ZYL.

The other 8? They win all of them including here. If both of them are 100% healthy, they are the best bet to win gold medal in WD next year.

It's not so true. I'm watching and play table tennis (TT) --for the truth I can't play baddy at all, pure fans only :D-- Yes the CHN dominance the table tennis more than they do in badminton. But sometimes they suffer loose also. CHN lost MS gold medal in 2004 OG to KOR's player named RYU Seung Min. Last year their almighty women team also lost to SIN -although SIN player originally come from CHN-in the World Champions Team event. Other notable players like Timo BOLL from Germany (no 1 rank in MS) and Vladimir SOMSONOV (World Champion 2008 ?? CMIW). In 90's decade there's legendary Jan Ove WALDNER from Sweden who got the Olympic Gold and World Champion.
Even though CHN so dominance in TT but still TT is more popular in Europe and worldwide. TT also got more TV coverage and sponsorship. For Example is Volkswagen (VW) who sponsorship some tournament and the players also. From what I see the TT spectators are more likely in the tennis. They're not just come to see and cheer for their fellow countrymen but to enjoy the show by any player who play. Even in CHN itself the non-chinesse player I mentioned above are well known and have their own fans especially WALDNER. That's one problem of Badminton I think.
