Well if you know Malaysian players enough you should know that they are all time bombs. You just don't know when they will explode. They are capable of beating anyone and at the same time capable of being beaten by anyone. They are the most inconsistent players across all countries. So having said that, we really don't know if they will win or not. Their lost against the weaker pairs do not mean anything.
I believe in homeground advantage . I am not saying that KKK/TBH will win the MD title at this 2011 Malaysian Open SS. I would just say that they have quite a good chance to take the title. Why? Because I believe in homeground advantage. .
The exteme inconsistent in this pair has bring in the so called 'pessimistic' because no one will have the confidence in them anymore, yes, they might suddently play very well to grab the title.......but just no more optimistic in their chances anymore after reading their records of the past !!
Sorry, wrong infos.........shd be 2008 lost to uncles from Den in 2nd round, 2009 lost to LYD/JJS in QF. They were champion in 2007 edition.
No idea why some remain optimistic simply because they grabbed the title in 2010. In 2010, the only pair who was up to challenge them is a new CB/ZN and also GZD/XC. Now, CB/ZN is such a formidable pair and KSH/YYS have also risen, not to mention the BoSan pair who are capable of giving top pairs a run for their money, proven it by beating KKK/TBH. Home ground doesn't mean much, except for LCW as LCW will either succumb to pressure or grow in confidence...
Yes, but.....'play their best' seems is the hardest part in their game............they seems never good at it !
Hope to see LD vs LCW match! . Many of us would expect this match to be the Semi-Finals (top half of the draw). .
Kido/Setiawan will miss MAS SS 2011 Men’s Duo to Miss KL Tilt As Hendra Lets Knee Heal Ami Afriatni | January 10, 2011 Markis Kido and Hendra Setiawan will not compete in the season-opening Malaysia Open Super Series, after Hendra has been advised to rest his injured right knee for two weeks. Hendra suffered the injury during the Super Series Finals in Taiwan last week, which forced Indonesia’s top men’s doubles shuttlers to withdraw from the Taipei tournament. “I’ve been receiving treatments since I returned to Jakarta from Taiwan, and my doctor has told me to rest for at least two weeks so I can fully recover,” Hendra said on Monday. ---------------------------------- Full article through the JakartaGlobe.com -- http://www.thejakartaglobe.com/badminton/mens-duo-to-miss-kl-tilt-as-hendra-lets-knee-heal/416166
My play their best = show fighting spirit and real determination to win. Nevermind if they lose. I didn't run them down when they lost to CB/ZN, I just said that they tried their best but still lost and this proved that CB/ZN is lethal to all top pairs now.

Yes, my 'play their best'.........is the same as yours. KKK's best game shd be with lots of fancy shots and winning points with it..............lol
I knew they wouldn't win the title but didn't expect that they can't even win a single match in 2011!
I was not surprised they lost, looking at their recent form and attitude and I am very disappointed and sad.
