Congrats to Fu Mingtian for making it to the finals by defeating the famous "Rat".

S'pore will get at least a silver medal in badminton despite the very strong women's field from such Asian powerhouses.

Good luck to Fu in her final hurdle.

Once again congrats to my fave pair Nitya/Feinya cruising to final after dumped out the WR#11 Duanganong Aroonkesorn/Kunchala Voravichitchaikul for the second time in this SEA Games, today they win it more easier 21-13 21-10. I am quite sure they will get the gold medal. They trashed Vita/Nadya in INA Gp Gold 2011. Nitya/Feinya are still unbeatable in this tourney. Good luck.. :) Eventhough without Grey/mel we still can make ALL INA final in WD :D

Congratulation to Firda sent packing WR#12 Porntip Buranaprasertsuk, and congrats to Fu Mingtian for upseting WR#13 Ratchanok Inthanon. Tomorrow final will be interesting, of course i will cheer Firda to grab her second SEA Games gold medal, her first gold medal in SEA Games was at 2005, in 2007 she only grab silver medal after down to MKY. Good luck :)

ALL INA final in MD featuring Kido/Hendra vs Bona/Ahsan. Kido/Hendra grab gold medal at SEA Games 2009, how about this time? I hope Bona/Ahsan win it :D

I'm not sure about that. Tanongsak may (again) surprises us and Fu Mingtian is not easy to beat.

I will not bet against Vita-Nadya... I still think they have a 51% chance of winning against their younger up-and-coming opponent. :) ...but I agree with your other predictions... :D

Taufik was sulking on the Men's Team event final... He was complaining blablabla about everything that day (even twitted about it to the public). I was not surprised he did not join the celebration. He was not being a good team-mate that day. Look at Rijal, he didn't get to play, but he was very happy and supportive.... :)

You're correct rosid. The order of play is WD and MD first... (INA are assured of a medal there anyway)... WS, XD and finally MS... The suspense got better after the 2 easy ones are assured.

The matches start at 2pm local time, I think. That's according to the sea games website.

I guess this Sea Games will be the last team event for Taufik, I think time to give the young players chance. They are not carrying that big expectation anyway. Starting with Thomas Cup qualifier

    Taufik has no team spirit.
