1. Simon is not wrong. Most of those who played deep into last week s GO, went out first round here especially when they meet strong opponents. And Simon played tough matches in GO; how much fuel had he burned up. There is cumulative fatigue, a factor many fans and coaches (especially MAS and KOR) ignore. It s a factor that LYB is very aware of. That s why CL retired first round in KO12, hoping to have one tournament freshness advantage over LCW in MO12.2. JPN MD is so much more experienced than INA MD. Didn't INA MD fight back in G2 to force rubber? That s excellent mental attitude.3. Lose focus when leading big time? Early big lead is no guarantee of win. This happens with other non-INA players too. It s not an INA exclusive. Sometimes can be due to strategy. Start aggressive and use up a lot of energy in early stage but lose steam against a charged up opponent in late stage. Focus counts but energy strategy is crucial for win against strong opponents.
Can you refuse to go on court if both players agree? And instead play the match in the morning? Just out of interest...
Referee makes final decision. With it being so late and starting at 3PM tmrw, they should have allowed some matches to start at 10 AM tmrw.
Omg... I cant believe this. Ng/Ng was leading all the time in game 2 and had 3 match points but let it slipped. Now trailing 7-15... *facepalm*
Surprised to learn that they started at 10 am, why not 9 am as usual....still be late but at least one hour earlier is better...it is standard time to start at 9 am on all SS....anyway....!!surprise that 2cent does not show up and criticize England organizer is not professional...hahaha...
